From Dental Assistant to Airbnb Host to REALTOR® — My Journey to Real Estate

I’m Valentina Rubio, a REALTOR® proudly serving Wichita Falls and the surrounding areas. My path to real estate has been anything but traditional, and every step has shaped the way I serve my clients today.

I was born in California and moved to Texas at 16 when my stepdad was stationed here with the military. After high school, I spent 14 years as a dental assistant — a role that taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to care for people during important moments in their lives.

While living in Lubbock, I purchased my first home and turned it into an Airbnb. That experience sparked something in me. When I returned to Wichita Falls, I expanded that passion and eventually managed six Airbnb properties. Along the way, I discovered how much I enjoy design and presentation — I personally staged each of my Airbnbs, creating warm, welcoming spaces that consistently earned great reviews.

That same eye for detail now helps me guide sellers in showcasing their homes beautifully. Today, I’m proud to help buyers and sellers navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives with clarity, confidence, and genuine care. This new chapter means everything to me, and I’m honored to guide others as they begin their own.
